Provo is a city in Utah. It's home to Brigham Young University and its museums, including the Monte L. Bean Life Science Museum. The BYU Museum of Paleontology houses a collection of dinosaur fossils. The BYU Museum of Art is a modern venue with a large permanent collection of paintings. The Crandall Historical Printing Museum has a working Gutenberg Press replica. Trails lead up Y Mountain for panoramic city views. Provo lies between the cities of Orem to the north and Springville to the south. With a population at the 2010 census of 115,264, Provo is the principal city in the Provo-Orem metropolitan area, which had a population of 526,810 at the 2010 census. It is Utah's second-largest metropolitan area after Salt Lake City. Provo is the home of Brigham Young University, a private higher education institution operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). The city is a focus area for technology development in Utah, with several billion-dollar startups. The city's Peaks Ice Arena was a venue for the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics in 2002. Sundance Resort is 13 miles (21 km) northeast, at Provo Canyon. In 2015, Forbes cited Provo among the "Best Small And Medium-Size Cities For Jobs," and the Bureau of Labor Statistics found that Utah County had the year's highest job growth. In 2013, Forbes ranked Provo the No. 2 city on its list of Best Places for Business and Careers. Provo was ranked first for community optimism (2012) and first in health/well-being (2014).

I was getting a lot of questions about freshman housing at BYU (Brigham Young University), so I decided to film a mini tour of my dorm room at Helaman Halls (Taylor Hall). Hope this helps! Feel free to comment any questions and I'll try to answer :) A few things I forgot to mention in the video: - thin hangers allow you to fit a lot more into your closet! I got mine at Costco for really cheap, but they have the same black, velvet ones at Target and other stores too. - The beds can be raised or stay low. As seen in the video, my bed is raised and my roommate kept hers low. I would say about 90% of the girls raise their bed to maximize storage space. HOWEVER if you are shorter, a stool of some sort is nice for getting into bed. I use the grey cube I have from Target. - Living at Helaman Halls requires you to have a meal plan, which is why we don't usually have a ton of food in our room (although we still have plenty of snacks here!)

Today I'm visiting BYU campus in Provo Utah. They have some interesting ways of doing things over there. In this video I share some of the unique ways of life on campus. For this year, there has been a rule change. Mountain Dew may now be purchased on campus. The soft drink was originally banned because it had caffeine in it. Also, in addition to no caffeine or alcohol, the Code of Honor also includes no swearing, which I didn't mention.
