A lot of people wonder what it is like at FJH's headquarters in Ft. Lauderdale. It's time to take a behind-the-scenes tour with Brian Balmages, Director of Instrumental Publications. Meet many of the people that collectively make FJH such a wonderful company and see how we are able to print all that music and get it out to dealers around the world!
"E quanto tempo faz desde que eu te vi naquele dia cê tava tão linda... e quanto tempo faz desde que eu te vi naquele dia cê tava tão linda... acho que me apaixonei cedo demais me entreguei cedo demais mas valeu a pena.. mas valeu a pena... seu sorriso me hipnotiza seu olhar me deixa louco seu beijo me fascina seu corpo no meu corpo me faz delirar... faz delirar... e quanto tempo faz desde que eu te vi naquele dia cê tava tão linda... e quanto tempo faz desde que eu te vi naquele dia cê tava tão linda..."
Lyrics: "FJH [Verse 1a] Should of known this song was coming when you stepped in the scene Tried so hard to be accepted But you slipped through the seams [Verse 1b] (Seems) like you passed by A new day A new you Your short lived Intentions Are cries for Attention No sense of direction ignored all the lessons Asked all the wrong questions You slipped through the seams (You slipped through the seams!) [Chorus] If I wanted to be like you I’d get high like you die to Say fuck my future Don’t need it anyways I would drink away my problems Hoping that would solve them Say fuck the future Who needs it anyway? [Verse 2] Bury your mind Tell yourself it's all alright I can tell you know the story by the glare in your eyes. Now realize, this isn't what I had in mind Thought we’d gotten over acting like it’s Junior High But you persist Break down, speaking words against this All your might, but you’ve still got no defense Never confess, but you know I threw the best hit Don’t dare try to test it (You know I threw the best hit) [Chorus] If I wanted to be like you I’d get high like you die to Say fuck my future Don’t need it anyways I would drink away my problems Hoping that would solve them Say fuck the future Who needs it anyway? [Outro] Go ahead and blame it on somebody else The seams have been stitched Now you're confined to yourself You’re all alone" A huge thank you to everyone whose supported us and Donny at The Echo House for making the demo version of the song better than what we thought the mastered version would sound like.
FJH - Layers Download for FREE here: 🤍 The ‘layers’ of sinister soundscapes are one of the main strengths of this mix. They not only create a certain texture, but also give this track a completely different dimension. While heavy distorted and resonating basslines pass the listener’s eardrums, the ghost-like samples aim straight for the heart, preparing the listener for a big impact... The first drop leaves creates some serious debris, through both the well-balanced mid- and low-ends. The kick pops nicely while the snare smashes the listener’s eardrums from one side to another. The massive low-end feels warm, but adds a frightening effect to the whole piece – excellent work from FJH! The one growl implemented has this distinctive tone that causes hairs to stand straight up. For the most part repetitive drum patterns controls the mix, with great panning effects added on top to widen the earlier mentioned dimensions. The break shows some great development and the second drop hits even harder than the first. While the samples return in the mix, FJH is already working towards an ending with emotive keys that start to set in. ‘Layers’ sounds like an evolving organism, it’s hard to really define it – a truly powerful tune. The tune’s last breath is a vocal sample that combines with the haunting samples from earlier in the mix. These elements complete a tune that’s definitely for the real deepheads out there, enjoy! Hello, I created this YouTube channel for my students. These songs are teacher duet parts from a variety of different books and other arrangements. Students, please find your songs and create your own practice playlist. I had to record all these songs on my phone. So the sound quality might not be the best and had to move the camera close to the guitar. I hope you enjoy all the duets and keep practicing.
