Jinan (Capital and Vice-Provincial City of Shandong Province) Jinan, also known as Quancheng, is the capital of Shandong Province, a sub-provincial city, a megacity, the core city of the Jinan metropolitan area, and the central city in the southern wing of the Bohai Rim region approved by the State Council. It is a political, economic, cultural, technological, educational, and Financial center, an important transportation hub. As of 2019, the city has 10 districts and 2 counties, with a total area of 10,244 square kilometers, a built-up area of 760.6 square kilometers, a permanent population of 8,098,700, an urban population of 6,343,800, and an urbanization rate of 71.21%.

Qingdao, in China’s eastern Shandong province, is a port city of skyscrapers, parks and beaches bordering the Yellow Sea. It's known for its beer, a legacy of the German occupation (1898-1914). The Tsingtao Beer Museum celebrates the namesake brewery, founded here by Germans in 1903, and the Qingdao International Beer Festival is major event. There's also German-style architecture in the old city center. Qingdao is a major seaport and naval base, as well as a commercial and financial center. It is home to electronics multinationals such as Haier and Hisense. The world's longest sea bridge, the Jiaozhou Bay Bridge, links the main urban area of Qingdao with Huangdao district, straddling the Jiaozhou Bay sea areas. While Qingdao has a long history, the eastern half of the city has been built since 1993, and there is no sign of it slowing down. In 2008, it hosted the sailing events of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Qingdao's early summer is quite an enjoyable season, although it can be humid near the sea shore. Late summer can become hot, while other places of Northern China start to feel cooler. The climate in late fall and winter can be harsh but snow patches can generally last no longer than a few days. Qingdao is an ideal destination if you want to combine sea-side fun with your trip to China. Qingdao does not have swarming markets, unpredictable traffic and intense street commerce. The city is relatively clean and orderly and might give the impression of an upcoming wanna-be Singapore. Qingdao, located in the southeast part of Shandong Province, is a beautiful seaside city. It is near to the Yellow Sea to the east and south, Yantai to the northeast, Weifang to the west and Rizhao to the southwest. Qingdao is one of the most beautiful coastal cities in China. Qingdao Port has been open to 177 ports around the world, bringing Qingdao to the most prosperous city in Shandong. Tourists who visit Qingdao can explore cultural relics like churches, historic German architecture and former residence of celebrities in the Qingdao Old Town while viewing beautiful natural landscapes including parks, bathing beaches in coastal areas. Be sure to go to Beer Street to taste the local Tsingtao beer whose best partner is always barbecue. In addition, Pichai Food Street, Yunxiao Road Food Street, and Mai Island seafood Street offer the freshest seafood, and authentic Qingdao snacks. Qingdao International Beer Festival, the biggest beer festival in Asia, is held on the second weekend of August every year and lasts for 16 days. The whole city will be decorated and people can taste beer from the world. The red roofs, green trees, blue sea, and azure sky form a bright and colorful picture here. The city is sometimes known as the Switzerland of the Orient. Surrounded by the sea on three sides, the city attracts many visitors with its charming seascape. Sights like the Eight Passes Villas, May 4th Square, the Zhan Bridge, Mt. Laoshan, No.1 Bathing Beach, Badaguan Scenic Area will help you remember the city. Other major attractions like Xinhao (Signal) Hill Park, Catholic Church (St. Emil Church), Golden Sand Beach, Small Qingdao Island, Lu Xun Park, and Underwater World are also worth a visit. Jinan City, also known as "Spring City", is the capital of Shandong Province of the People's Republic of China, one of the fifteen sub-provincial cities in the country, the political, economic, cultural, technological, educational, transportation and financial center of Shandong Province, and the Shandong Peninsula city group and the core city of Jinan metropolitan area. Linyi Mengshan Avenue Elevated Road is the first elevated road in a prefecture-level city in Shandong Province. It is the first elevated road donated by private enterprises in China. It is also a landmark project for Linyi City to build an urban three-dimensional transportation network. It is a milestone in the history of central city construction. planning The Jiangquan Elevated Route is invested and constructed by Huasheng Jiangquan Group and designed by the Research Institute of Shanghai Municipal Engineering Design Institute. The elevated road starts from Shuangling Road in the north, runs through Mengshan Avenue, connects to Danan Road and then extends to Shuangyueyuan North Road, with a total length of 11 kilometers. It is the west line of the inner ring expressway in the urban area. At the intersection of Mengshan Avenue, Shuangling Road and Taoran Road, a fully interchangeable overpass will be set up, and 9 up and down ramps will be set up at important intersections such as Yihe Road, Jinqueshan Road, Jiefang Road, and Beiyuan Road. The project mainly includes two parts: viaduct and ground road. The viaduct is designed according to the urban expressway, with six lanes in two directions and a width of 25 meters. The upper structure adopts a cast-in-place prestressed concrete continuous box girder structure with a basic span of 30 meters and a bridge pier. Double-column piers are used, and the design speed is 80 km/h; the ground road is designed according to the urban trunk road, with six lanes in both directions, and the design speed is 50 km/h. The construction of the entire project is expected to have a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan, which is wholly-funded by Huasheng Jiangquan Group, a Linyi City enterprise. The project construction period is one and a half years, from February 2013 to July 2014.
Jianbing (simplified Chinese: 煎饼) is a traditional Chinese street food similar to crepes. It is a type of bing generally eaten for breakfast and hailed as "one of China's most popular street breakfasts." The main ingredients of jianbing are a batter of wheat and grain flour, eggs and sauces. It can be topped with different fillings and sauces such as baocui (薄脆, thin and crispy fried cracker), ham, chopped or diced mustard pickles, scallions and coriander, chili sauce or hoisin sauce depending on personal preference. It is often folded several times before serving. Dongying, a prefecture-level city, lies on the northern (Bohai Sea) coast of Shandong province, People's Republic of China. The city was established in 1983, as a base for developing the Yellow River Delta and China's second largest oilfield, Shengli Field.
The Shandong is China's first domestically designed, built and outfitted aircraft carrier. It carries J-15 fighter jets and other carrier-based aircraft. The Type 002 carrier was built by the Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Company and was launched on April 26, 2017. It was given the hull number 17, and entered service on December 17, 2019 at a naval port in Sanya, south China's Hainan Province. Liaocheng, is a prefecture-level city in western Shandong province, China. It borders the provincial capital of Jinan to the southeast, Dezhou to the northeast, Tai'an to the south, and the provinces of Hebei and Henan to the west. The Grand Canal flows through the city center, it has the reputation of being a “water city." Liaocheng was known as Dongchang in ancient times. It has a long history.
