Laravel oder Symfony. In diesem Video ein Vergleich der beiden Technologien und welches Webframework wann besser ist. Und welche Vorteile und Nachteile das jeweilige System hat. Besonders Agenturen setzen vermehrt auf Laravel (LV), um Webanwendungen zu schreiben. Auch weil es sich ein Junior Programmierer einfacher aneignen kann. Um sich in Symfony (SF) einzuarbeiten braucht man jedoch etwas mehr Zeit. Es gibt jedoch viele alte Legacy Systeme, welche mit SF programmiert wurden. Daher braucht es auch heute noch PHP Entwickler mit diesem Skillset. Besonders Onlineshops und Content Management Systeme (CMS) lassen sich mit Symfony bauen. Auch bekannte eCommerce Lösungen wie Shopware oder CMS wie TYPO3 wurden damit entwickelt. Das zeigt auch die Robustheit dieser Technologie. Mit Laravel lassen sich jedoch nicht nur einfacher Webanwendungen entwickeln, diese sind auch sicherer und skalierbarer. Nicht selten wird LV, als das WordPress unter den PHP Frameworks genannt. Obwohl LV noch viel flexibler ist als WordPress. Da jedoch noch viele Programmierungen in SF vorgenommen wurden, sind viele Unternehmen nicht bereit, auf LV zu wechseln und arbeiten auch heute noch damit. Um neue Module zu schreiben oder Erweiterungen zu entwickeln. Es gibt jedoch nicht nur Unterschiede. LV basiert zum Teil auf SF. Das wurde vom Ersteller des Werkzeuges Taylor Otwell so erstellt. Zudem wollte der Gründer die Technologie als Verbesserung zu CodeIgniter bauen. Besonders kleine und mittelständische Unternehmen profitieren von diesen Ansätzen. Die Kosten werden bei einer LV Anwendung geringer sein, als bei einer SF Entwicklung. Es kommt jedoch nicht nur auf die Kosten an. In vielen Fällen sind auch die Funktionalitäten wichtig oder die Komplexität der Software. Was sind Eure Erfahrungen? Welches System bevorzugt Ihr?
Als PHP Entwickler sollte man mindestens ein PHP Framework beherrschen und irgendwo fängt ja jeder mal an. Today I'm going to give you three reasons why Laravel is a dying framework. For anyone in a hurry: REASON 1: Worst in class benchmarks REASON 2: Zero stability REASON 3: Zero innovation Shall I type about each of these things in a little more detail? Okay. Let's go. Reason 1: Worst in class benchmarks There's no denying that Laravel has ghastly benchmarks. It's slow. It's bloated. It's over-engineered. In the past, Taylor Otwell responded to this by saying that the reason why these kinds of claim are unfair is because people were using "fully loaded" Laravel applications for the various benchmark tests where Laravel gets consistently trounced. Given the fact that a fully loaded Trongate is now proven to be multiple times faster than Laravel, I don't think Otwell's excuse cuts in. I think benchmarks matter. The excuses aren't working. This is reason one. Reason 2: Zero stability Laravel is the most frequently rewritten of all the major frameworks. Until very recently they were committed to breaking their own framework every six months. Now, they're committed to breaking it every twelve months. This is not acceptable. Clients deserve better. Moreover, the "Laravel deception" - where developers mislead clients into paying for version upgrades under the false pretence of "security patches" is hereby called out. I think it's a scam and I'm looking forward to educating business owners about the Laravel Deception. What they have done is completely unethical, in my opinion. Regardless of the ethics, it seems clear to me that everybody is sick of rewrite culture. Clients don't want it. Developers don't want it. This is reason 2. Reason 3: Zero innovation Laravel does not have a single unique killer feature. Not one. Yes, it has lots and lots of bells and whistles. Some of them are nice. Some of them are positively good. However, that's not going to cut it. The fact is, there's not a single Laravel feature you can show me that's not already available from elsewhere. Laravel desperately needs a unique killer feature. Impersonating other technologies doesn't count. I think Laravel's failure to innovate is now becoming a huge problem that developers are finding difficult to ignore. All of these are things that I could have told you three years ago. What's new, however, is that - developers are starting to say 'no' to Laravel. That's real. That's new. That's a major development. So there you have it... Laravel is a dying framework. You heard it here first.

Сегодня у нас немного моих размышлений о частом вопросе который глаза не видел Symfony, но пришёл проект на этом Framework, ознакомился с документацией мне задают - а именно какой framework выбрать. Сразу огорчу тех, кто от меня ждёт конкретики, что ролик будут в стиле "выбирайте Laravel, изучайте только его, он самый популярный, он самый лучший". В целом моё мнение остаётся неизменным: начните изучение основ языка программирования, которые вы выбрали. Изучайте процессы которые происходят скажем так "под капотом". Это откроет вам глаза на многие вещи. Framework это всего лишь инструмент, он нам упрощает жизнь, на него не стоит смотреть как на какого-то страшного зверя, которого стоит учить месяцами. Framework призваны на помощь. Это знаете как делать ремонт и воспользоваться инструментами для удобства и комфорта. И скажем умея пользоваться перфоратором фирмы Bosh вы потом не будете испытывать недоумение используя перфоратор фирмы Makita. Так и здесь. У меня большой опыт нативного использования языка программирования PHP. Много критики к этому языку, уже лет 20 все кричат что PHP умер, но этого не происходит. Но если умрёт, то лично я не вижу никаких проблем, ведь я работаю также и с Java, Dart, JavaScript. Языки программирования это также инструменты, всё зависит от задач. Также отходя от темы подчеркну что считаю что PHP это один из лучших языков для вступления в ряды разработчиков, так как он простой, в него проще влиться и понять фундаментальные основы. Laravel é o maior framework PHP da atualidade e sem dúvida é uma baita ferramenta, mas quem me conhece melhor sabe que eu não sou seu maior fã. Neste vídeo eu explico o principal motivo para eu não gostar do framework Laravel. É importante deixar claro que eu reconheço o papel do framework na comunidade e sei que ele vem fazendo um ótimo trabalho. Eu só não concordo com todas as decisões tomadas pelos criadores, o que não quer dizer que eu esteja 100% certo ou que o framework seja ruim. Tanto é verdade que acredito que o framework tem seu papel que eu possuo cursos gravados sobre #Laravel (e vou regravá-los nas versões mais recentes do framework). Se quiser conferir, aqui tem 10% de desconto para assinar a Alura: 🤍 Minha maior objeção contra o framework é sobre a escolha do padrão #ActiveRecord do #Eloquent (ORM do Laravel). Este padrão te deixa mais dependente do framework, inclusive no que chamamos de "camada de domínio". É um problema que pode sim ser contornado modificando um pouco a arquitetura, mas eu prefiro não ter esse problema utilizando #Symfony, por exemplo, que usa o #Doctrine, que por sua vez usa o padrão Data Mapper. PS.: Eu sei que minha pronúncia de PearDB (e de tudo relacionado ao Pear) está incorreta.
